EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in prioritising a varied and flexible workload (essential)
  • Able to work accurately and to tight deadlines under pressure and competing demands (essential)
  • Experience of using accountancy software e.g. Xero (essential)
  • Experience of undertaking a range of clerical and administrative duties, including data input and retrieval (essential)
  • Experience of budget monitoring and account reconciliation (essential)
  • Excellent MS Office proficiency (essential)
  • Experience of charity finance (desirable)
  • Experience of assisting with payroll (desirable)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 3 qualification in English & Mathematics (essential)
  • Administration/ Finance qualification (desirable)
  • Evidence of continuous personal and/or professional development (essential)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn a range of administrative processes in a small to medium sized organisation (essential)
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and safeguarding (essential)
  • Ability to keep accurate records and communicate effectively (essential)
  • Ability to assist with the production of accurate records and reports as required (essential)
  • Ability to identify work priorities and manage own workload to meet deadlines whilst ensuring lower priority work is kept up to date (essential)
