For more information, please see www.dt-global.com The Role Support the Operations Lead in maintaining the Program’s finance processes and systems, in accordance with Program manuals and policies, DFAT and DT Global policies and procedures, and relevant accounting standards. Support the development, documentation and continuous improvement of the program’s Finance Manual, procedural documents and compliance with DFAT Policy. Responsible with the Operations Lead for all financial management tasks, including budget development and management, financial planning and forecasting, and cash-flow management. Responsible with the Operations Lead in supporting the program for audits. Prepare and deliver timely, relevant and high-quality financial reports for DFAT and DT Global. Manage program expenditure according to DT Global’s requirements, including recording of all approvals and required documentation, enter data in BST 11 and undertake monthly bank account reconciliation. Prepare financial reports, including reconciliations that may be required by DFAT and DT Global for the management of the Program. Process invoice payments including management of supplier accounts, expense coding, preparation of accounts payable documentation, approvals and data entry into the relevant financial management systems. Provide day-to-day management of accounts payable and approvals. Ensure program finances are managed in complete compliance with all relevant procedures, including audit requirements and full financial reporting. Oversight sub-contracted deliverable approval process and invoicing requirements for timely payment. Lead risk and fraud mitigation processes and provide training to staff and advisers. Work with Operations Lead and DT Global’s Program Accountant to ensure monthly financial tasks and reporting are accurate and complete. Maintain accurate, user-friendly and up to date financial electronic filing systems with the Finance and Administrative Officer. Contribute to establishing fit-for-purpose templates and processes for EQUIP. Lead, in coordination with the Operations Lead, the implementation of fraud management across all financial activities to ensure a zero-tolerance culture throughout the Program. Champion the implementation and application of Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), safeguards, climate change, localisation, monitoring, evaluation, research, learning (MERL) and other cross cutting issues across all project activities and promote culturally sensitive and respectful communications and comply with DT Global’s policies and procedures. Provide input and maintain records of information as required for the Annual Report, Management Information System (MIS), MERL system, and other EQUIP planning and reporting documents and systems. Experience in finance systems and processes in development programs. Demonstrated knowledge of finance and administration principles. Competent information technology skills with high level of computing skills, and advanced in the use of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs (such as Word and SharePoint). Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills, And able to develop and maintain good relationships with colleagues, counterparts and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal English language skills. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with attention to detail and an ability to work independently to complete tasks. Ability to work under pressure whilst ensuring accuracy and high attention to detail. Experience in and commitment to applying GEDSI and safeguards principles. Desirable Qualifications in finance, accounting or business administration. Familiarity with BST accounting software. Experience working in a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Government of Australia funded program.
