EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
· Education: Recent school-leaver with at least 3 ‘A’ levels grade B or above, graduate with a minimum of 2:1 degree or other strong academic profile.
· Prioritisation skills: You are a diligent and responsible individual capable of working autonomously and delivering, with and without daily supervision.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
An exciting Energy company based in the City is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance and Administrative (F&A) Associate to join the Finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with both the office management and various accounting and financial tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial regulations.
This role provides an excellent opportunity for a school leaver or early-career Accountant to gain valuable experience in the Investment and Renewables sectors.
The role is split time between general office administration and support and the Finance function. In the candidate’s role as office administrator the Candidate will have exposure to all the Group’s functions and operations supporting team members across different company divisions. Alongside this role the candidate will support the Groups Finance team as a Finance Associate gaining entry level experience into bookkeeping and Company secretarial and record keeping. The candidate must maintain high standards of accountability, whilst ensuring it can deliver in a faced-paced and complex environment.
The candidate will report to a Management Accountant on a day-to-day basis and ultimately the Head of Finance. The candidate must have strong numerical skills, ability to work within a close team and have a high aptitude for learning. The ideal candidate will have had some experience with accounting packages (Xero) and some Accounting experience, either through their studies or previous work experience.
KEY FINANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
KEY OFFICE RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Office Administration: Office liaison with suppliers and Equipment leases and management of provisions
· Post management and distribution: Collation scanning and forwarding to the relevant team member
· Travel management: Booking of hotels, travel for team members in accordance with Group policy
· Coordination of Office events and meetings: including invitations set up and offsite meeting coordination.
· Inbox management: Ownership and management of Enquiries inbox
· Ad hoc tasks: Supporting team members with presentations, newsletter layout (using Mailchimp) and website updates (using WordPress or Divi)
