Your tasks

• Overall responsibility for the Finance and Controlling departments at the Hoisdorf location
• Leadership and development of the finance team
• Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements and ensuring reliable internal and external reporting.
• Control of budget, forecast and medium-term planning
• Further development of production and product controlling
• Analysis of manufacturing costs, product costs, margins and profit variances, and derivation of suitable measures.
• Conducting and further developing cost center, investment and profitability analyses
• Transparent presentation of key financial and operational figures for management and executives.
• Active business partnering for production, purchasing and other operational areas
• Further development of finance processes, reporting structures and control instruments
• Participation in cross-departmental projects and in the further professionalization of the finance organization.
• Cooperation with the international companies and functions of the BRUSS Group

Your profile

• Completed degree in economics with a focus on finance, controlling, accounting or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a responsible finance or controlling function, ideally in a manufacturing industrial company
• Solid experience in production, plant or product controlling
• Excellent understanding of cost accounting, calculations, manufacturing costs, inventory valuation and variance analysis.
• Good knowledge of accounting and the preparation and management of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Leadership experience and the ability to lead an experienced team in a professionally clear and binding manner.
• A strong understanding of the economic context of a manufacturing company and enjoyment of a hands-on role.
• Proficient use of SAP and very good Excel skills; experience with BI and reporting solutions is an advantage.
• Very good German and good English skills
• Analytical strength, clear communication, and a pragmatic, solution-oriented work style.
