MAKE AN IMPACT AT RSM UK

At RSM, our consulting team brings together diverse advisory experts to deliver our six core solutions: business transformation, deal services, forensic, restructuring, finance function support, and risk and governance.
Our solutions are designed to address the unique needs, challenges, and opportunities our clients face as they strive to achieve their aspirations and organisational goals. Whether it’s supporting global expansion, developing acquisition strategies, facilitating private equity investments, or collaborating with boards to manage risk and governance, our consulting experts work as one cohesive team. We prioritise simplicity, providing data-driven insights, value-added assurance, and high-quality execution to empower our clients in building sustainable, future-fit businesses.
It’s an exciting time to join our consulting team, as we embark on ambitious growth plans that promise to create diverse career opportunities. We are committed to enhancing our six solutions, expanding and developing our team of expert consultants, embracing a digital-first approach, strengthening our global presence, and building strong client relationships
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Projects Assistant Manager or Manager to join our North Region team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality client work, identifying new opportunities to add value, and championing the benefits of digital and cloud-based projects across the wider team. You will work closely with the Regional and National Projects Teams, and collaborate with Internal Digital, Consulting Digital, and Business Transformation teams to ensure successful project outcomes and continuous innovation.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Liaise with partners and portfolio managers to identify client opportunities and promote digital/cloud solutions.
  • Champion digital health checks across the North portfolio, track completion, and follow up on identified opportunities.
  • Deliver client work including cloud implementation, automation tools, finance function optimisation, forecasting, and software selection.
  • Provide support and training on platforms like Xero and related apps.
  • Supervise junior staff on projects, ensuring effective briefing, oversight, and review.
  • Raise awareness of digital tools and challenge existing processes to drive efficiency and better client insights.
  • Stay current with digital developments, maintain certifications, and complete relevant training.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Are you someone who thrives on variety, loves learning new things, and enjoys connecting with people? If you can spot inefficiencies in everyday life and are passionate about making improvements, this role is perfect for you!

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Qualified accountant
  • Strong understanding of digital and cloud technologies
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Effective communicator across all levels
  • Proactive and able to drive digital transformation
