FINANCE APPLICATION ARCHITECT:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Finance Application Architect for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

FINANCE APPLICATION ARCHITECT - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Finance Application Architect will lead software and technology projects, focusing on developing architecture blueprints and assisting in the implementation of proposed solutions. The role involves designing detailed solution designs for application integrations and preparing future state roadmaps for systems and technology stacks.

FINANCE APPLICATION ARCHITECT - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• 8-10 years of software design and development experience
• 3-5 years of experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle ERP and EPM Cloud
• Hands-on experience with Oracle REST/SOAP APIs for data integration
• Good understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud tables and FBDI templates
• Experience in solution architecture practices, including creating impact assessments and updating roadmaps
• Experience in full lifecycle implementations of ERP projects
• Ability to understand end-to-end data flow

FINANCE APPLICATION ARCHITECT – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience working in the insurance industry
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Oracle EPM, Apex, FDI
• SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
• Performance tuning experience of database objects and programs

• Work closely with BAs to collect business and system requirements
• Develop architecture blueprints in collaboration with Enterprise Architects and project team members
• Assist development teams in implementing proposed solutions
• Provide high-level estimates to project managers
• Design and document detailed solution designs for application integrations
• Prepare future state roadmaps for systems and technology stacks
• Propose development standards and best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple Business and IT teams
