As a Finance Apprentice at Bitterne Park School, you will gain hands-on experience and valuable insights into our financial operations, working alongside experienced professionals. This role is designed for those passionate about finance and keen to learn a range of financial processes and systems.

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated interest in finance and a desire to pursue a career in this field.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in finance or administration is desirable but not required.

• Assisting with the processing of invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial policies.
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
• Maintaining accurate financial records in line with accounting standards.
• Helping to manage and reconcile bank statements and other financial transactions.
• Participating in audits and compliance checks under the guidance of the finance team.
• Learning to use finance management software and systems.
