We’re now looking for a Finance Assistant who thrives on structure, precision, and ownership, someone who enjoys the craft of bookkeeping and wants to be part of a fast-moving, global setup. Tasks We’re looking for a Finance Assistant who loves bookkeeping. Someone structured, detailoriented,and excited by the idea of owning the financial books for a growing group of companies, across different geographies, currencies, and systems. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility. You'll play a key part in supporting both our internal operations and our portfolio companies, helping them scale with solid financial processes from day one. Your main focus will be bookkeeping for our portfolio companies, Danish and international, plus a few internal entities. What You'll Do Take full ownership of bookkeeping for 8+ companies, across Denmark, UK, EU, and US Manage entries and monthly closings across systems like Xero, QuickBooks, and Economic Prepare and schedule payment runs, coordinating with internal approvers Deliver books on time Provide light financial analysis of P&L and balance sheets Support VAT and tax compliance - you must know DK legislation, and be ready to learn international rules Work directly with the Finance Lead Occasionally liaise with auditors or local accountants — with guidance Requirements 2–5 years of hands-on bookkeeping or auditing experience Experience with Danish tax, VAT, and financial reporting Proficiency in at least one of our tools: Xero, QuickBooks, E-conomic Comfortable juggling multiple entities and deadlines Strong attention to detail, you enjoy reconciling things until they click Able to work independently, but know when to ask questions Fluent in English; Danish is a plus, but not required You enjoy owning your work and bringing structure to a busy environment.
