OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and assisting with various administrative tasks. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred but not essential; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required; familiarity with accounting software is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
  • Support the monthly reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payments and manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management review.
  • Maintain organised filing systems for financial documents and records.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
