As a Finance Assistant you will play a key role supporting our Finance and Housing operational teams by ensuring timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
You will process transaction accounting predominantly on purchase ledger transactions with support on other transactions where required.

Responsibilities
  • Processing of supplier invoices
  • Balancing of purchase ledgers on a monthly and annual basis
  • Regular purchase ledger statement reconciliation
  • Payment runs as required
  • Dealing with related queries from suppliers and colleagues
  • Ensuring that all the correct financial controls are adhered to and support all audit activities, monthly balance sheet recs where required
  • Posting rent receipts
  • Resolving rent posting queries with housing & income collection staff
  • Bank reconciliations, cash posting & supporting resolution of cash variances
  • Ensuring that all financial year end deadlines are met and audit files are submitted to auditors in a timely manner
