Gloucester | £29,500 – £35,000 | Hybrid Working

This role offers excellent exposure across core accounting functions, ideal for someone looking to broaden their skills and take ownership of key financial processes in a fast-paced but collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Credit Control
  • Process purchase and sales ledger transactions
  • Support the month-end and year-end close activities
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders including auditors
  • Contribute to process improvements and financial controls

Candidate Profile:

  • Part-qualified or accounting graduate with strong ambition to progress
  • Solid understanding of core accounting principles
  • Proficient with Excel and comfortable learning accounting software
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
