Description
LMW, on behalf of its client, a leading cultural and nonprofit organization with significant social impact and operational complexity, is seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The position is part of the Finance Department and reports to the Financial Controller, supporting accounting, financial control, and reporting activities across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and reconcile management systems related to commercial operations (e.g. Parking, Memberships, Bikes, etc.) Monitor and reconcile daily reports from Food & Beverage operators Support the expense approval process, including recording approvals and tracking pending items Assist in the preparation and execution of organizational payments Support the preparation of donation payment requests by collecting supporting documents, payment records, and related materials Perform monthly reconciliations of customers and suppliers Maintain and manage financial and accounting records Handle additional ad hoc finance-related tasks as required Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance will be considered an asset At least 2 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and tax legislation Experience with ERP systems Excellent command of the Greek language, both written and spoken Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with strong emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Key Competencies Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills Team-oriented mindset Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to meet strict deadlines The opportunity to be part of a large, well-established organization with a strong social and cultural footprint A structured and professional working environment with clearly defined processes and collaboration across teams Exposure to complex financial operations within a reputable nonprofit organization Private healthcare program
