Job Title: Finance Assistant
Department: Administrative
Work Location: Surrey, BC (on site)
Status: Regular Full-time (RFT)
Salary Range: $50,000-55,000

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, EXPERTISE:

· DSC / DEC (preferred)

  • Canadian years of work experience in accounting
  • Quickbooks experience
  • Bookkeeping
  • Intermediate Excel & MS Office knowledge is required.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and responsible for Accounts Payable tasks and functions.
  • Monitor and responsible for Accounts Receivable tasks and functions.
  • Prepare various reports using excel macros.
  • Reconcile monthly bank statement and credit card statements.
  • Reconcile and post weekly shipping invoices.
  • Accurate, attention to detail & record keeping.
  • Communicate in an effective & timely manner regarding client & vendor finance issues.
  • Operate in a financially responsible manner.
  • Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines & achieve company goals.

· Complete assigned reporting & other tasks accurately, professionally & on schedule.

  • Month End Closing Entries.
  • Assist with Year End processes.
