Location: Remote, with some attendance required at our Croydon office
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

We are now looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Finance Team to support the smooth day-to-day running of the firm’s financial operations.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

This is a varied and hands-on support role within a busy finance department. Working primarily from home, you will assist with core finance tasks including processing payments, maintaining financial records, supporting internal reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures. You’ll work closely with our accounts team and liaise with staff across the firm. Occasional attendance at our Croydon office will be required for training, meetings, or specific tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing invoices, expenses, and payments.
  • Supporting payment runs and reconciliations
  • Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Maintaining fixed asset register.
  • Preparing accruals and prepayment journals.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry
  • Assisting with internal reporting and financial compliance tasks
  • Responding to finance-related queries from staff
  • Supporting credit control activity where needed
  • Assisting with audits and month-end processes
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider finance team
