FINANCE ASSISTANT

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • AAT qualified (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar finance/accounts role
  • Confident in using Sage 50, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • A self-starter who’s comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong administrative and communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach
Responsibilities
  • Daily stock reconciliation and resolving finance-related queries
  • Sales invoice preparation and client invoicing
  • Credit control and management of the sales ledger
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices and reconciling supplier statements
  • Recording expenses, mileage claims, and ad-hoc costs using Sage 50
  • Overseeing insurance renewals and company vehicle records
  • Providing occasional admin support to other departments and taking incoming calls
