Te Kowhiringa I The Opportunity We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to support the efficient operation of our finance function. This role plays an important part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting funding recovery processes, and ensuring robust financial administration across the organisation. Working closely with the wider Finance team, you will provide reconciliation, accounts administration, and operational support while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen financial processes and data integrity. Ngā pūkenga kei a koe I Your Skills and Experience You will enjoy working with data, solving problems, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain high standards of financial accuracy and compliance. To be successful in this role, you will bring: · Previous experience in a finance administration, accounts, or finance support role. · Strong reconciliation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. · Experience working with financial systems and databases. · Sound understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general finance processes. · Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. · Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. · Intermediate Excel skills. · A strong team-focused mindset, with the ability to build positive working relationships, share knowledge, support colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
