As a leading international organization in the field of migration, IOM works with its partners in the international community to help meet the growing challenges of managing migration flows, foster understanding of migration issues, promote economic and social development through migration, and work towards respect for human dignity and the well-being of migrants.
Since 2016, IOM has been operating in the Comoros, working on voluntary return and reintegration of vulnerable migrants; migration governance; disaster risk management; counter-trafficking; border and immigration management; and diaspora mobilization.
Under the direct supervision of the Head of Office (HoO) in Comoros, the Finance Assistant will carry out the following duties and responsibilities.
Responsibilities
The Finance Assistant will carry out various duties and responsibilities under the direct supervision of the Head of Office in Comoros. This includes supporting the financial operations related to IOM's migration programs.
