Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to support our Site Controller in maintaining accurate financial records, managing account ledgers, and preparing reports for the management team. This role is ideal for someone who is not only highly accurate but also forward-thinking, keen to suggest improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen our financial operations.
This is a full-time role based at our headquarters in Kendal.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Accurately enter financial transactions into internal databases.
  • Assist with resolving invoice, purchase order, and supplier queries.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all financial transactions.
  • Raise customer invoices and credit notes.
  • Chase overdue debt daily.
  • Set up new customer and supplier accounts.
  • Perform reconciliations between company ledgers and customer portals.
  • Support the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints via email, phone, and social media.
  • Raise claims with third-party couriers and issue customer refunds when required.
  • Collect and distribute post for the Finance Department.
  • Comply with safety procedures and ensure adherence to product legality, quality, and authenticity standards.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties to support the effective running of the department.
