Legacie Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the team based out of the Head Office in Liverpool.

Responsibilities
  • To contribute to the attainment of the company’s business objectives by
  • To provide a regular, timely and accurate financial and accounting service that meets with deliverance of monthly cost reporting, as well as statutory & supplier obligations.
  • Maintenance and input into core financial systems to ensure accuracy of data and control checks are consistent and can be relied upon for further assessment & ultimately settlement.

Primary responsibilities, tasks and duties (this list is not exhaustive)

  • Assist with reconciling & coding supplier invoices, issuing to appropriate authoriser within Paperless system (Sage 50 Integrated Invoicing System)
  • Monitor the accounts email inbox ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner
  • Request and reconcile monthly supplier statements, resolving any differences with the supplier so accounts agree
  • Opening and distributing all incoming post, monitoring voice mails and shredding waste
  • Keep current and clear information on invoices on query and in conjunction with suppliers and operational staff see through to resolution
  • Address backlogs in invoice approvals through regular communication with operational staff
  • Maintain accurate lists of department and nominal codes for site teams to refer to
  • Provide support and assistance to other team members during busy periods
  • Any other finance administration tasks as required to support the team
