We are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join our Team based in Normanton, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a growing company.
The Finance Assistant will play an essential role in providing support to the Finance Manager to ensure the accurate reporting of the Company’s Financial data. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial postings for both Sales & Purchase Ledgers to ensure compliance is always adhered.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven experience of working within a Finance Department
  • Experience of working with Finance Software packages
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • High levels of accuracy & attention to detail
  • Ability to work with integrity & maintain confidentially
Responsibilities
  • Production of sales invoices/credits & accurate allocation of cash receipts
  • Credit control duties & assist with query resolution
  • Processing all purchase invoices accurately and payments in line with Supplier terms
  • Entering Customer receipts, Supplier payments and other bank transactions and performing
  • Bank reconciliations for review
  • Petty Cash control for numerous Depts
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and production of weekly reports
  • Ad-Hoc duties including purchasing
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements
