JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations for our hotels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and administrative tasks. This position is perfect for individuals looking to develop their skills in finance while contributing to the overall success of the company.

EXPERIENCE

  • A background in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential; relevant qualifications or coursework will be considered advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Attention to detail with good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner.
  • Support the budgeting process by collecting and analysing financial data.
  • Liaise with general manager of allocated hotels to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information as required.
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to finance, including filing and data entry.
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and systems for increased efficiency.
