Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Finance Assistant, you will support Montu’s daily financial operations, ensuring our financial records are current and accurate. You’ll work closely with the finance team, engaging in diverse tasks such as invoicing, reconciliations, and reporting. This role is perfect for those who enjoy both structure and variety, and want to grow with us in an exciting, evolving industry. While the primary responsibilities are outlined below, the role may also involve other ad hoc or project work as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Bookkeeping & Ledger Maintenance: Ensure data entry, processing invoices, and monthly processes are timely and accurate.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track payments, process invoices, and follow up as needed.
  • Reconciliations: Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Support report preparation.
  • Expense Management: Review employee claims for policy alignment.
  • Tax Compliance: Maintain records for VAT/GST.
