We’re hiring! Due to the upcoming retirement of a much-valued team member, we’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused Finance Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team.

Hours: Part Time, Permanent - 25 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 per annum FTE
Reporting to our Finance Supervisor, you’ll help keep our financial operations ticking, with a strong focus on payroll and invoicing. You’ll assist with essential tasks like checking carer pay documentation, auditing invoices, managing cheques and deposits, and handling client billing. You’ll also liaise with carers, clients, and funders, ensuring smooth communication and accurate records.

Key tasks of the Finance Assistant include:

  • Assisting with payroll checks and audits
  • Supporting invoicing processes and client communication
  • Managing cheque payments and bank deposits
  • Handling financial queries with professionalism and care
  • Maintaining accurate records using our systems (e.g. One Touch Health and Xero)
  • Encouraging Direct Debit setup for new clients
  • Chasing and escalating debtor concerns
