Description

TEDDINGTON | 17.5 HOURS PER WEEK | FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS | OFFICE-BASED | OCTOBER START

Looking for a part-time role that fits around school runs and family life?
We’re Motionspot – a purpose-led inclusive design company based in the heart of Teddington – and we’re looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our team during a period of maternity leave starting in October.
Whether you’re returning to work, need hours that fit around other responsibilities, or simply want to be part of a company that’s doing meaningful work, we’d love to hear from you.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

You’ll be a good fit if you:

  • Have previous finance or bookkeeping experience
  • Are comfortable using systems like Xero and Microsoft Excel
  • Are organised, accurate, and trustworthy with confidential data
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and suppliers
  • Enjoy being part of a small, friendly team
  • Have good time management skills and like working independently

This role is perfect for someone looking for flexible working hours – for example, to fit around school drop-offs or term-time commitments. We’re happy to discuss how your 17.5 hours a week could be spread across the week.

HOW TO APPLY:

Use the Indeed ‘Apply now’ button. Questions? Feel free to get in touch at careers@motionspot.co.uk or call us on 020 3735 5139.
We warmly welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and lived experiences – including parents, carers, career returners, and those seeking flexible work arrangements.

THE ROLE:

As our Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping our finances running smoothly. Reporting to our Finance Controller, you’ll be involved in a range of day-to-day tasks that help support the wider business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Managing customer invoicing and supplier payments
  • Preparing payroll and reconciling bank transactions
