Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Finance Assistant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our nonprofit organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong data entry skills and hands-on experience using Excel and QuickBooks who enjoys working in a mission-driven environment. Requirements Key Responsibilities Perform accurate data entry of financial transactions Assist with accounts payable and receivable Enter and maintain records in QuickBooks Use Microsoft Excel to track, organize, and reconcile financial data Support monthly reconciliations and basic financial reporting Maintain organized digital and paper financial records Assist with audits, grant reporting, or budgeting support as needed Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all financial documentation Required Qualifications Proven experience with Microsoft Excel Proven experience using QuickBooks Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a nonprofit organization Associate’s degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or a related field Experience with grant-related financial reporting Skills & Attributes High level of integrity and confidentiality Strong time management skills Clear written and verbal communication Comfortable working with numbers and financial systems
