Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department’s daily operations and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and performing data entry tasks
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts
  • Prepare and file financial documents, reports, and statements
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial tasks
  • Respond to financial inquiries from internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Assist in preparing financial presentations and reports for management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar finance assistant role
  • Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks or SAP
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with UAE financial regulations and practices (preferred)
  • Adaptability to learn new financial systems and processes quickly
