The OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate! We are currently looking to recruit a Finance/Office Assistant at our Wassenberg facility based in Germany.

The RoleWorking as part of a small Finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you would be tasked with delivering finance support, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a consistently high standard, which provides a platform for the company to deliver on its objectives. You would be expected to demonstrate a clear understanding of how an effective finance function plays a key role in the success of an SME.

  • Responsibilities will include:Assisting in all aspects of financial accounting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Fixed asset register
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Monthly preparation of financial accounts to initial review level
  • Bank reconciliations in Multiple currencies
  • Intercompany Reconciliations
  • Processing of supplier invoices
  • Supporting all aspects of accounting management
  • Supporting the Site Manager with the daily running of the office
  • Providing an effective and flexible support service, banking administration, invoicing, and debtor control.


The CandidateThe ideal candidate should be a team player who is flexible with a real ‘can-do ' attitude” and very hands-on in the day-to-day transactional processes, in addition to be willing and able to support additional business projects.

  • Requirements:Entry-level finance qualifications or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience in bank/cash reconciliation and ledger management
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Understanding of SAP Business One preferable
  • Strong multitasking and workload prioritization abilities
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills with confidence to liaise at all levels
  • Proficient in IT and data entry
  • Proficient in oral and written English and German
