The role | Te mahi As a Finance Associate, you will provide expert financial advice, analysis and day-to-day support to executives and managers that strengthen the business unit’s finances and support effective decision making. This role is part of the central Finance Advisory team of 50 staff and reports to the Finance Manager. There are two positions available, one supporting Health Sciences, and the other supporting Sciences. Skills and experience | Kā pūkeka me kā wheako We are looking for an individual with experience in: • Providing financial advisory services, including month end accounting; financial reporting, analysis and commentary; financial forecasting and budgeting; financial modelling and analysis. • Stakeholder engagement. • Giving financial advice and guidance to non-finance senior managers. Recognised qualification(s) appropriate to the role and considerable relevant finance experience are essential for the role. A tertiary level qualification in an accounting/finance discipline is preferred. Further details | Pūroko These are full-time (37.5 hours), permanent roles located in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.
