You are an experienced accountant with 3+ years in similar roles
- You have experience with managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- You have experience of the month-end process, reporting and analysis
- Strong accounting knowledge, with proven experience with UK GAAP
- You have experience implementing new systems and processes
- You should be thorough, accurate, proactive and dependable
- You should have high attention to detail and be able to take initiative
You should have excellent communication skills and be able to speak to stakeholders (internal and external) of all levels
- Experience with Xero is essential

THE ROLE:
Our finance team is embarking on an exciting transformation journey to automate processes and implement systems, driving greater efficiency, accuracy, and strategic insight. We are committed to leveraging technology and best practices to enhance our financial operations and decision-making capabilities.
Trint is looking for a talented Finance Associate to work alongside our Financial Controller in building out a world-class Finance function and to support scaling growth.
We are looking for someone who will have responsibility for running the day-to-day transactional accounting functions, including end-to-end management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, supporting with cash flow management and month-end reporting , as well as supporting our transformation project.
This position will suit someone who is looking to gain more experience and is keen to utilise their skill set in a fast paced scale-up environment.
You will be someone who has experience implementing new systems and processes, is able to solve problems, analyse results and has a keen eye for detail.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND SKILLS NEEDED:
- Manage the day-to-day transactional accounting tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Preparation of month-end journals and supporting with the preparation of board reporting
- Daily cash flow management
Supporting with the transformation project including implementing systems and process improvements, including helping to streamline the transactional accounting tasks you are managing
- Ad hoc tasks and projects as specified by Financial Controller
