Multiple temporary full-time opportunities until 30 June 2027  Role based in Parramatta/Sydney CBD with flexible/hybrid working environment.    Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 + super     Expand your Finance Analyst experience and provide financial analysis and advice across project teams within NSW Reconstruction Authority!    About the role    We’re seeking a Finance & Assurance Officer to support the delivery of financial analysis, reporting, and assurance activities across recovery and reconstruction programs within the NSW Reconstruction Authority.    About You     You are an adaptable finance and grants professional with a solid foundation in financial administration and an understanding of grants processes. You work well in structured, high-volume environments and are comfortable supporting compliance requirements while contributing to effective day-to-day delivery of programs.      What we’re looking for  Experience in financial and grant reporting, data analysis, and reconciliation, including aligning expenditure to funding agreements and financial systems  Strong analytical capability to assess financial risk, grant eligibility, and assurance outcomes, and to interpret complex data sets  Experience supporting grants or program funding, including tracking expenditure, payments, and multiple funding sources  Ability to investigate variances, identify risks or issues, and provide clear insights to support decision-making  Experience working collaboratively with program and project teams to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting  A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to help streamline processes, improve data quality, and support efficient reporting and payment workflows      Essential Requirements: Tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field.      For more information read the full Role Description: Finance & Assurance Officer    About the Agency  The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.    To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government.
