JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Project Manager to lead financial projects and ensure the effective management of financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, with proficiency in various accounting software and financial concepts. This role requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and a commitment to maintaining compliance with tax standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in finance or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (QuickBooks Online preferred).
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and CRA compliance.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to track and report on project costs and financial health.
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely, with occasional in-person meetings in Olds.
  • Familiarity with construction or project-based businesses is an asset.
  • Experience with BusyBusy (or similar time-tracking apps) is a plus.
  • Proficient in using various accounting software tools for general ledger reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
  • Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks related to bookkeeping.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
