Overview This role will be required to work as a finance partner to Regional General Manager. Also to build and maintain partnerships with Sales, Marketing and Operation team, accurately and timely report results, support to build realistic and data-driven forecasts, provide financial analytics and modeling to support business decisions. Critical success factors for this role include the ability to connect with business partners, and to identify and highlight insights that influence business decisions and processes. This role will be able to developed new finance and modeling skills, learn about comprehensive business model, and learn how a world-class organization operating in this regulations reforming circumstance. Responsibilities Drive growth. Sales analysis support to manager and business team, by providing periodically reports with analytical comments, including weekly sales tracking, monthly sales by multi-dimensions, quarterly/yearly and historical trend reports with analysis on sales volume, pricing changes and margin mix. Forecast Accuracy. Support topline forecast process, work closely with Sales & Operation team to conduct sales forecast and gap close plan, make sure forecast commitment on time. Process Improvement. Develop business model analysis framework to provide clear view for business functions, to support key business decisions. Annual budget. Contribute in annual budget, as a bridge to corporate finance and local Sales and Marketing team, to provide templates and act as facilitator in the process, to make sure budget completion on time, accord with Corporate requirement. Perform as a business partner to business functions. Enhance profitability and efficiency. Respond to manager ad-hoc requests or Special Projects for customized data and reports in a knowledgeable and flexible manner Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economic 10+ years’ experience working in a commercial environment preferably in the Life sciences industry Demonstrated partnering and communication skills with cross-functions Advanced proficiency in quantitative analysis, problem solving, and financial modeling Strong process mindset, together with concise and positive manner Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately with minimal supervision Refined English and Chinese written and verbal communication skills, with ability to extract and explain the “story” from the data Proficient in office software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), with knowledge of financial and ERP systems (e.g. SAP, AO, Power BI) and software with the ability to quickly learn and apply new skills and techniques Company Description Waters Corporation (NYSE:WAT) is a global leader in analytical instruments, separations technologies, and software, serving the life, materials, food, and environmental sciences for over 65 years.
