We ensure diversity is celebrated for the opportunity it provides us all to learn and grow and deliver better outcomes for members. We are dedicated to building a high-performance environment underpinned by a strong risk culture, ensuring we deliver the best outcomes for our members.   Your New Role  Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Finance Partner, on a 12-month contract, will be responsible for building and maintaining complex financial models and completing management reporting to support executive and Board decision‑making across the Member domain.    Key duties include but are not limited to: * Build and maintain large complex financial models primarily in Excel. Regularly verify forecast assumptions used in models. * Ability to analyse feedback from stakeholders and external market data and integrate these insights into models to ensure their continued strength and reliability  * Perform scenario analysis and stress testing to support strategic trade‑offs. * Prepare management reporting including providing insights into P&L performance, variances against budget and forecasts. * Report and provide insights to relevant key stakeholders, via monthly management reports and quarterly financial forecasting. * Ensure the effective monitoring of financial position and provide advice on meeting financial plans. * Build strong relationships across a broad stakeholder group across the Fund. * Successfully communicate financial outcomes and guidance to relevant key stakeholders in a clear, concise, and understandable manner. * Assist in the delivery the annual budget setting process for relevant key stakeholders, including identifying efficiencies and savings targets.  * Assist in developing and maintaining the longer-term forecasts for relevant key stakeholders. * Contribute to the development and commercial assessment of projects and business cases.   What You’ll Need    * Tertiary degree in Finance, Actuarial or a related field. * CA/CPA/CFA qualified / working towards preferred however not essential. * Strong financial modelling skills and technical modelling capabilities. * Deep technical knowledge in developing and maintaining large models. * Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify when data and analysis is materially incorrect, and obtain solutions. * Strong commercial acumen: advanced ability to understand business objectives and drivers and how these translate into financial measures. * Experience in financial services (banking, superannuation, insurance) or related industries. * Experience with Power BI, Python and other analytical and data visualisation tools preferred.   Life at AustralianSuper  AustralianSuper is committed to colleague development, and we support our people with ongoing learning, coaching and training, as well as career opportunities across our expanding global organisation.
