THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused Finance Business Partner to join a well-established organisation. Sitting within the local finance team and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a key link between finance and operations, delivering meaningful insight, improving financial processes, and helping to shape the strategic direction of the business. You will support the timely production of accurate management information, lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, and provide financial modelling for internal and external projects. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, working closely with operational leaders to influence performance and ensure effective decision-making.

AS THE FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Acting as a key business partner to senior leadership across operational and central functions
• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, challenging budget-holders and driving a culture for accountability
• Providing insightful variance analysis, highlighting performance drivers and risks
• Supporting the preparation and delivery of period-end reporting
• Leading financial modelling for business cases, bids, and tenders
• Coaching and supporting junior team members
• Reviewing financial and non-financial data to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Driving improvements in reporting processes and overall data quality
• Covering the Financial Controller during periods of absence
