Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Finance Business Partner assists management in meeting the strategic and operational targets of CSC. Building strong relationships and trust with key stakeholders across the organisation, you will provide insights that support commercial decision-making across both operations and project initiatives. This role partners with a business portfolio, providing financial analysis and advice that enables the delivery of strategic objectives, operational performance, and successful project outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the business to consult and provide advice to the Executive team and managers in the preparation and management of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Prepare and analyse timely and accurate monthly management accounting reports, ensuring commentary and analysis clearly explain key performance drivers for the relevant portfolio and provide recommended solutions.
  • Proactively investigate trends and anomalies, taking corrective action where required. Translate financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Support the development and analysis of business cases and project proposals, providing input to ensure alignment with financial and strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and review financial modelling and sensitivity analysis
  • Assist the business portfolio in the month- and year-end finance process, including accruals, time sheeting, capitalisation, and work order management.
  • Assist the business in defining, tracking, and realising project benefits, ensuring alignment with business case outcomes throughout and following project delivery.
    Specific duties, deliverables and reporting lines may vary from time to time depending on business needs and priorities. Key objectives and measurements will be captured in the Performance & Development planning cycle, established annually and adapted as needed.
