Location: UK Hybrid (Glasgow / Gosforth, one per quarter at least)

The role is dynamic, varied and focussed on providing the support to enable the business to deliver on strategy. Ideally, we are seeking candidates with fantastic analytical skills and Finance experience that are looking to progress their career to the next level.

• Applying your financial experience and acumen to analyse monthly results, understand drivers, challenge business performance and assist with the planning and forecasting process to help inform the strategic business plans.
• Delivering best-in-class partnering service for the business – to understand and drive business performance, to support the realisation of objectives and commitments.
• Maintaining and enhancing processes, providing recommendations on what technical development and innovation can be made, to drive an efficient and flexible function which can react quickly to changing circumstances while ensuring appropriate controls are in place
• Building strong and effective working relationships with colleagues across the business to achieve an aligned and cohesive approach to how the financial costs performance is communicated effectively to a wide range of stakeholders.
• KPI tracking
• Working with senior leaders within the organisation to support organisational goals, facilitate integration, help streamline workflow and relieve leadership stress.
• Ensuring costings are accurate and within agreed timescales
• Leading robust departmental budgeting process with a constructive, challenging mindset.
