Summary
We are looking for a “Finance Business Partner Customer Service IFF/ Comms and Airborne & Protection” for the “Finance & Controlling Customer Services IFF/ Comms and Airborne & Protection” division at the Taufkirchen site at the earliest possible date.
The “Finance & Controlling Customer Services IFF/ Comms and Airborne & Protection” department is responsible for carrying out all commercial tasks within the divisions, including the performance of management and control tasks to achieve the division-specific business objectives.
Finance & Controlling is the business partner for the program area manager and is therefore responsible for project and program area controlling and the development of corrective measures to ensure the planned KPIs.

Your Tasks

  • Technical management of a project team at the Taufkirchen site
  • Extensive commercial support in the context of national and international projects / major projects
  • Commercial contact person (Finance Business Partner) for the program managers and close coordination with the project core teams and supporting areas (controlling, accounting, price checking)
  • Responsible for the preparation of commercial offers and contracts (calculation/commercial conditions/commercial part of the approval presentation) including pricing
  • Leading customer meetings and negotiating the commercial parts of the contract
  • Responsible for project controlling, including cost-to-completion/EAC analyses, target/actual comparisons, creation of scenarios, development of proposals and initiation of measures to ensure planned project results and cash flow
  • Responsible for proper commercial project management with a focus on cost optimization, payment, claim/waiver, opportunity and risk management
  • Accounting and receivables management, as well as cash management including reporting
  • Checking the accounting correctness of all postings with regard to IFRS15 and HGB, as well as price verification and auditing issues
  • Preparation of planning (operational planning, forecasts, scenarios, capacity utilization planning) and reporting, as well as monthly and annual financial statements
  • Carrying out ad-hoc analyses for managers to develop the divisional strategy in the program

Willingness to travel on business is a prerequisite.

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, MBA or comparable
  • Extensive experience in the field of finance, as well as in the commercial project management of national and international projects and basic accounting knowledge, including IFRS15/IAS38
  • Management experience advantageous
  • Experience in project controlling in integrated teams
  • Sound knowledge of tender and contract design as well as claim/waiver management
  • Knowledge of public pricing law advantageous
  • Confident in using SAP (modules: SD, PS, FI, RAR) and MS Office
  • Analytical, flexible, proactive and goal-oriented way of working
  • Good communication skills in dealing with various stakeholders, ability to work in a team, assertiveness and customer orientation
  • Business fluent in German and English, further foreign language skills advantageous
