Description

Would you like to work in a dynamic and international financial administration in one of the world’s leading expert organizations – we are now looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Deloitte Finance team. In this role you will control firm level overheads and support the Enabling Functions’ leaders in analyzing and reporting related tasks. Additionally, you will be a key player in managing firm level cash flow and treasury processes. This is a permanent and full-time position, with preferred start date as soon as possible.
The Finance team plays a key role in supporting our business and is responsible for producing reports and analyses to support management’s decision-making, in addition to daily finance operations such as accounting, payment transactions, purchase and sales invoice processes. The Finance Business Partner team is responsible for e.g. weekly and monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, supporting in profitability and efficient management of engagements related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant education, Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting (Economics and Business Administration) or similar relevant educational background
  • Excellent analytical skills, proactive working style, and ability to turn numbers and data into insights to support business decision making
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent skills with MS office, especially Excel, experience with PowerBI and Anaplan is an advantage
  • Fluency in both English and Finnish, both oral and written
  • 4-5 years relevant working experience from business controlling tasks, preferably from an international environment
Responsibilities
  • Finance business partner for our Enabling Functions
  • Monitoring and analyzing overhead costs (actual vs. target)
  • Supporting, challenging, and sparring the Enabling Functions’ team leaders in interpreting numbers
  • Supporting the CFO and the Finance Team Lead in analyzing firm level overheads and possible development projects.
  • Collaboration with Deloitte Nordic Finance function and owning the controlled cost category meaning e.g. Nordic and network shared costs (= costs coming through the Deloitte network) process and activities
  • Owning, driving, and developing budgeting and forecasting process and templates for overhead costs and supporting the Business Unit Finance Business Partners around the processes
  • Acting as a country representative in Nordic Policy and Processes working group, aligning accounting treatment related topics between Nordic countries, and implementing the agreed policies and processes.
  • Owning treasury and investment policy & related activities, including monitoring, controlling and monthly & quarterly cash flow reporting.
  • Acting as a Taxonomist, responsible for organization structure/hierarchy related matters between different systems and applications.
  • Other ad-hoc responsibilities.
