Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive and senior business leaders to provide strategic financial advice and commercial decision support.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Deliver accurate financial forecasts and performance analysis to drive business outcomes.
  • Provide commercial insights and recommendations based on financial and operational data.
  • Meet stakeholders to translate financial data into clear business recommendations and Identify, assess, and communicate business risks and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases.
  • Monitor and manage P&L performance, including revenue, margins, costs, and profitability drivers.
  • Challenge assumptions and influence decision-making through data-driven analysis and constructive stakeholder engagement.
  • Support investment evaluations, pricing strategies, and commercial initiatives.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of executive-level financial reporting and presentations.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Finance Business Partnering team members to build capability and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial planning, reporting, systems, processes, and performance management practices.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in similar role as a Finance Business Partner or Finance Manager or FB&A Manager for large corporate companies
  • Retail and FMCG industry experience will be seen as advantageous
  • Extensive experience in Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or commercial finance roles.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with executive, commercial, operational, and senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and influencing business and P&L performance.
  • Advanced financial analysis, modelling, and scenario planning capabilities.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present to and challenge senior leaders constructively.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing finance professionals and teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience with ERP, planning, and reporting systems.
