As our Finance Business Partner, you’ll be an important part of the team, ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of the Netherlands Ministry of Defence contract for G3 Systems Ltd. You’ll help keep our WTB Programme on track by managing finances, cash flow and supporting the achievement of key project milestones.
This full-time position is offered on a two-year fixed-term contract, with a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum and a comprehensive benefits package.
The Finance Business Partner will report to G3 Systems’ Finance Controller and provide comprehensive financial support, and both statutory and MI reporting across all phases of theproject delivery lifecycle. You will work closely and commercially partner with the Project Manager and wider Programme team, undertaking the financial reporting aligned with the management reporting calendar together with calculation of required adjustments, WIP and budgeting.
You’ll be based mainly at our Osprey Quay, Portland offices (Dorset), fully embedded within the WTB Project Manager and our wider Programme Management Team to support financial performance. Together, we’ll make sure all commercial project milestones are completed on time and to a high standard. There may be some short-term international travel within Europe, but we’ll discuss this together and make sure it works for you.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of self-motivation and initiative, prepared to champion financial compliance, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, challenge management and take ownership. A driven mindset and the ability to work independently without constant supervision are essential for success in this role.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

· Implement and enforce appropriate financial disciplines and controls
· Support the project team in providing accurate and timely management information
· Provide accurate forecasting and reporting to all key stakeholders; and respond to changes in the business
· Proactively work with the project and finance team to compile and manage cash flow, and identify and manage risk
· Revenue Recognition IFRS15
· Present and operate at all levels, both internally and externally
· To speak finance to non-finance managers
· To champion finance processes and compliance to accounting practices, challenging behaviours, and embedding best practice throughout the wider business
· Monitor and ensure the validity of the information available
