POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of Sage Line 50
  • Experience of ERP system
  • Experience of Power BI
  • Knowledge of Excel and Access
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering
  • ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification
  • Good working knowledge of VAT

Responsibilities

Working within the Finance team, you will be required to assist with monthly finance reporting in additional to project work involving multiple systems.

  • Support the Finance team in meeting their objectives
  • Preparation of monthly accounts in-line with internal deadlines
  • Reconcile monthly inter-company accounts
  • Support managers across the business with timely and accurate data to facilitate business decisions
  • Manage the credit card process to ensure appropriate authorisation and processing of credit card expenses in a timely manner
  • Work with the Business systems manager to maintain and improve the accuracy of the ERP system
  • Maintain and develop management reporting to provide key insights into operational activities
  • Partner with key stakeholders across all businesses to develop and implement operational change through innovative solutions whilst promoting best practices and maintaining internal controls
  • Investigate and report on areas suitable for cost reductions
  • To cover key finance activities of Management accountant during absences
