WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) and/or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in financial management; experience within an NGO or other context involving grant management would be an advantage.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver accurate and timely reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis tools to support decision-making.
  • Familiarity with process improvement or system implementation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of restricted/unrestricted funding models and cost recovery methodologies would be an advantage.
  • Ability to guide the stakeholders through strategic decision-making to navigate its complexities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Has strong communication and good collaboration skills.
  • Has excellent written and oral skills in English; additional language is a plus.
  • Comfortable working remotely and in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
  • Able to work in an international and multi-cultural setting.
  • Affinity with the mission GRI.
  • In order to support your overall well-being, should have an existing ergonomic desk set-up when working remotely.

The Finance Business Partner will act as the key financial liaison between the Finance team, teams implementing programs, and the Development team. The role ensures impactful financial management by developing effective budgets, actively monitoring financial performance and compliance with internal policies and donor requirements.
This role provides financial insight, guidance, and support to enable effective decision-making and optimize the use of resources.
