Finance Business Partner (m/f/d)
Act as a strategic liaison between finance and key departments, such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, and Project Management, enabling data-driven decisions and long-term value creation. You will play a pivotal role in our budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes, while contributing to strategic initiatives including fundraising, investor relations, and operational optimisation.

Your Tasks

  • Act as a trusted financial advisor to cross-functional teams, turning complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Lead and enhance integrated financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes across multiple legal entities.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial models (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) to assess business scenarios and investment cases.
  • Analyse financial and operational KPIs, highlight deviations, and proactively recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with Investor Relations to support fundraising activities through compelling financial storytelling and pitch materials.
  • Standardize and automate reporting systems to increase transparency, accuracy, and decision-making speed.
  • Design and improve financial control frameworks, ensuring data integrity and audit-readiness.
  • Participate in and influence strategic and operational projects requiring financial oversight.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA a plus.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Controlling, or Finance Business Partnering, ideally in a high-growth or tech-driven environment.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and strong command of Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Fluent in English; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and eager to work at the frontier of space innovation.
