You'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, business case development and performance reporting while partnering with leaders to achieve organisational priorities.

This is more than a traditional finance role. It's an opportunity to influence decision-making at scale, support service growth, and contribute to the delivery of world-class healthcare for more than 1.2 million people across south-east Melbourne.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analysing financial and operational performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing robust business cases to support new services and capital investment initiatives.

  • Building strong partnerships with clinicians, managers and executives to help deliver strategic and operational objectives.

About You

You're a relationship-focused finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and solving complex problems. You bring strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence outcomes through data-driven insights.

You'll have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • Significant experience in a finance, business partnering or financial leadership role.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis capability.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and building effective working relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
