Description

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Business Partner to join our Munro Footwear Group (MFG) finance team to play a critical role in shaping financial performance, empowering business decisions, and leading high-performing teams.
You’ll bring a strong technical accounting foundation, excellent leadership capabilities, and a passion for partnering with the business to drive outcomes. Your ability to translate numbers into insights will set you apart.

About the role

  • Deliver clear, actionable performance analysis and commentary across the business
  • Lead the preparation of monthly Board Reports in collaboration with key finance leaders
  • Present monthly management results to senior Support Office stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage performance against budgets and forecasts
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and outcomes
  • Work with the Finance team to enhance systems and service delivery to the wider business
  • Review and strengthen internal controls through ongoing process improvement
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Provide financial advice, including budget guidance, business case input, and ad-hoc analysis
  • Support year-end processes, including accruals and reporting requirements

Actively contribute to the annual budgeting process, leveraging business performance insights

About you

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role - Experience in a retail or FMCG environment would be beneficial
  • Proven experience managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Advanced knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
  • Understanding of procurement and merchandise processes
  • Practical accounting experience in the delivery of month-end and related reporting
  • Exposure to working on large-scale projects
