We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting into the Senior Finance Business Partner - Supply Chain & Operations, you will have strong knowledge of the food manufacturing industry and the operational functions relating to manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and sales. You will be responsible for supporting and providing financial analysis to assist in value added decision making for Operations.

What’s the Scoop?

  • Conduct regular and proactive analysis to provide recommendations for manufacturing improvements that align to business strategy and continuous improvement objectives
  • Conduct analysis of operational performance and expenditure, including conversion costs, machine and labour efficiency and waste, providing actionable insight
  • Work with the Site Managers & Senior Business Analyst to continually review and conduct gap analysis of operational reporting
  • Lead the sites’ commercial planning & reporting activities including development of the Factory budgets, performance outlook, month end analysis & commentary on key drivers
  • Support Operations Continuous Improvement initiatives through financial validation and tracking, focusing on labour and waste analysis
  • Providing financial and analytical support to the Commercial Finance Manager & CFO through the S&OP process, including tracking and understanding risks and opportunities.
  • Assist with financial modelling of Capital Expenditure Projects and payback calculation including post implementation evaluation

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum three (3) years professional experience in technical accounting, financial variance analysis and lean accounting
  • CA/CPA Qualified (or studying towards)
  • Strong knowledge of the food manufacturing industry and the operational functions relating to the manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and sales with special focus on dairy industry.
  • Knowledge of the operation and financial systems and information required to provide support for all aspects of the FMCG business
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Ability to turn data into information to drive real value creating commercial insight
  • Value and model great people management, be seen as a great line manager
