POSITION OBJECTIVE

Seasoned Finance Business Partner with extensive experience in digital assets and blockchain technology, seeking to leverage expertise in multi-currency markets and traditional finance to drive innovation in fintech. Combines deep understanding of DeFi protocols, digital asset treasury management, and regulatory compliance with strong analytical skills to optimize financial operations and drive strategic growth. Proven track record in developing robust financial frameworks for digital asset management while ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Pursuing or plans to pursue a CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification would be a plus.

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, with a focus on digital asset-related transactions and digital asset management
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures specific to digital assets, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Monitor and reconcile digital asset balances across multiple accounts and platforms, ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions
• Manage digital asset treasury operations, including portfolio allocation, risk assessment, and liquidity management
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities in the digital asset and DeFi space
• Implement and oversee robust internal controls to mitigate risks associated with digital asset transactions and ensure compliance with AML and KYC regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain technology and digital asset solutions into existing financial systems
• Stay updated on changes in digital asset regulations across multiple jurisdictions and assess their impact on financial operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with exchanges, custodians, and other service providers in the digital asset ecosystem
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for both traditional and digital asset-related activities
• Lead the evaluation and implementation of crypto-specific accounting software and tools to enhance operational efficiency
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior management on digital asset investments, DeFi protocols, and blockchain initiatives
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and transparency in digital asset-related financial reporting
• Develop and execute strategies for optimizing tax implications of digital asset transactions across various jurisdictions
• Mentor and train team members on digital asset accounting principles and best practices in digital asset management
