The Role Are you passionate about driving commercial value and influencing strategic decisions? Join our Product Development team as a Finance Business Partner and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of our innovation pipeline. About the Role As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll collaborate with Product Development and Product Management leaders to provide strategic and commercial insights throughout the new product lifecycle—from early concept to production readiness. Your expertise will ensure development investments deliver maximum value and align with corporate finance standards. This is a mix of strategic, commercial and analytical work so you’ll be someone with solid partnering experience who understands the drivers and trade-offs for robust decision making in a R&D/product design context. What you’ll be doing Partner with NPI project teams to model EBIT and cash flow impacts of design, cost, and timing decisions. Build and maintain financial models, producing scenario analyses and ROI outputs (NPV, IRR, payback). Design and embed commercial tools and frameworks to support better, faster decision-making. Influence product and portfolio decisions through clear, actionable insights. Champion commercial thinking across the Product Development community. Our ideal applicant… You have a deep understanding of product, pricing, and cost decisions and their impact on EBIT and cash flow. An ability to structure and critique investment cases and articulate trade-offs clearly, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like ERP, Power BI enables you to build trust with your customers and stakeholders, and you demonstrate a commercial mindset with courage to challenge assumptions and influence outcomes. In addition, You have at least 5 years in finance business partnering, management accounting, or commercial finance roles, Proven ability to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and deliver cost savings through financial insights, Experience in R&D, appliances, or innovation-led environments is a plus.
