REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economic or a related discipline.
  • Preference given to candidates holding CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA or eguivalent professional qualifications
  • 3- 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or Finance BP roles within the reta, FMCG, or related sectors.
  • Must possess hands-on experience with in-depth involvement in merchandising finance or retail/store finance analysis experience across multiple modules is advantageous
  • Candidates with experience in establishing analytical frameworks from scratch or optimizing processes will be favoured .
  • Possess excelent communication skils and business acumen, and be able to translate financial language into businesslanguage.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the merchandising Department and store operations teams to gain a thorough understanding of business dynamics and requirements. Conduct feasibility analyses and projections to provide quantitative evidence for critical decision-making.
  • Participate in establishing and refining the financial data analysis framework and metric system for the company’s frontend operations (merchandise + stores), constructing reliable financial models.
  • Responsible for constructing and analyzing financial models across the product lifecycle, including but not limited to forecasting new product launch profitability, conducting product pricing analysis, evaluating promotional campaign ROl analyzing inventory turnover and health metrics, and assessing clearance strategies for discontinued items.
  • Conduct store-level profitability analysis to identify key drivers of high and low-performing outlets, providing data-driver insights for store expansion, closures, and operational optimization.
  • Assist business departments in completing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly rolling forecasts (focusing on sales, margin, inventory and OPEX)
  • Establish and refine core business indicator (KPl) monitoring systems for merchandise and store operations (e.g., sales achievement rate, gross margin, sell-through rate, sales per square metre, labour efficiency, inventory days sales outstanding).
  • Regularly produce monthly operational analysis reports, identifying root causes of business deviations and proposing actionable improvement recommendations.
  • Optimized and refined data automation processes, collaborating with the IT department to ensure accurate and time data extraction from business systems.
