Opportunity to join our Group Finance division.
About the Role
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our Group FP&A function. You will join a high-performing, welcoming team, based at our modern Head Office, which offers a vibrant environment featuring a balcony, BBQ area, collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light. This role provides an opportunity for a dynamic and consultative professional with business acumen and strong stakeholder management to help shape this function within Service Stream.
About the role
You will be a key member of the Group Finance business partnering team providing financial, planning, and analytical support to key corporate stakeholders across Service Stream, encompassing month end forecasting, budgeting and month end analysis, and reporting on trends and spending.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • All aspects of business partnering with key corporate cost centers such as Legal, Commercial, Analytics, Premises, Business Development and Fleet.
  • Supporting the complete monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgets with insights on spend trend and cost build up.
  • Preparing monthly P&Ls with supporting variance analysis, commentary and metrics with full detailed review on spend captured within that cost center.
  • Delivery of key monthly documents and schedules for executive management.
  • Preparation of recharges, journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Offering a thorough understanding of financials including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and inter-company matters when requested.
  • Assisting in developing TM1, including enhancing, developing, and integrating the system further across the organisation (new cubes, reports, and system links).
  • Driving the development and continuous improvement of reporting, systems and processes.

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Accounting or related degree.
  • CPA/CA qualification.
  • Highly developed analytical abilities including use of analysis software e.g. Excel or Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with all levels up to Executive.
  • Capability to work autonomously and drive process improvement.
  • Sound knowledge of reporting & planning systems (TM1 would be advantageous).
